Omotenashi farmhouse inn inheriting the hatago inn hospitality of our ancestors

Wakamatsu-ya is a long-established inn continuing from the Edo period when the Aizu-Yonezawa Kaido road prospered.
From the old days, we have been a relaxing inn for merchants and people traveling over the pass.
We once started a business as general store after the roads were improved and fewer people traveled by, but later reopened our minshuku inn. From 2018, we started a new challenge as a farmhouse inn.
Visit our inn for abundant nature, delicious meals, and fun experiences unique to the mountains.
