Farmhouse Inn Wakamatsu-ya
Wakamatsu-ya is a long-established inn continuing from the Edo period when the Aizu-Yonezawa Kaido road prospered.
From the old days, we have been a relaxing inn for merchants and people traveling over the pass.
We once started a business as general store after the roads were improved and fewer people traveled by, but later reopened our minshuku inn. From 2018, we started a new challenge as a farmhouse inn.
Visit our inn for abundant nature, delicious meals, and fun experiences unique to the mountains.
Pass through the tunnel to the Seki District, and you will arrive at Wakamatsu-ya.
Our farmhouse inn features the great nature and seasonal vegetables.
Meals highlight seasonal ingredients harvested from the blessings of nature, including mountain vegetables in the spring, mushrooms in the autumn, rice made with water from the source of the Mogami River, and Yonezawa beef.
